In God's Name: A Conversation About White Nationalism & Faith

Watch the webinar here. The relationship between white nationalism, right-wing Christianity, and Christian nationalism remains a difficult subject, even among people committed to difficult dialogue. The recurrence of violent, racist attacks on faith communities continues to test our collective abilities to articulate horror, and build solidarity and community. This event engages both of these challenges, with the help of an insightful group of thinkers and leaders. The conversation features Anthropologist Sophie Bjork-James, a noted expert on the role of religion in white nationalist organizing, Umar Hakim Dey, a Compton native and consulting director of the Intellect, Love, Mercy (ILM) Foundation, Aziza Hasan, executive director of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change, and Dove Kent, political strategist and Board member of Jews Against White Nationalism.
